PROCEDURE AND QUESTIONS FOR CONVERTING YOUR CLASSIC CAR RADIO
With this page we want to give you an overview of how a project to convert your original classic car radio at WUNDERBAR Custom Radio Shop works. In this context, we also want to answer the frequently asked questions.
CAN ANY OLD CAR RADIO BE CONVERTED?
Basically, any analog car radio can be converted by WUNDERBAR Custom Radio Shop. Analog means that the radio still has a dial and a pointer that can be turned to set the stations. Unfortunately, car radios with a digital display can only be retrofitted to a limited extent or at great expense - at least at the present time.
ARE THE RADIOS ON THE WEBSITE FOR SALE?
All radios that can be seen in our webshop are completed customer projects. WUNDERBAR Custom Radio Shop has already converted more than eighty radios since its launch. All major brands from BECKER, BLAUPUNKT, DELCO, BENDIX and MOPAR. The radios shown are not stock items because usally you send us your radio and we will convert it to your specifications. All other spare parts shown are stock items and of course immediately available.
HOW LONG DOES A CONVERSION TAKE?
As a rule, a retrofit takes between two and three weeks. As all mechanical parts remain original, it may take a little longer in some cases if we have to go look for spare parts. We require a down payment before starting the project so that we can order all the necessary material.

The radios shown in the webshop are only for advertising purposes and so that you can inform yourself in advance. Of course, you will receive a personalized offer on request and of course a detailed telephone consultation.
