DELCO 7298475 WONDERBAR Radio für CADILLAC Baujahr 1967

The DELCO car radio shown here, with the model number 7298475 was used by CADILLAC in the 1967 model year. It is a 12 volt car radio that has AM and FM reception. The WONDERBAR radio was one of the first car radios that could independently and automatically search for the next available station. Of course, the automatic search worked very differently than with modern radios today, but the idea is the same – the radio finds the next station by pressing the WONDERBAR button. The driver could set the desired reception strength of the automatic search by adjusting the sensitivity to a signal with a higher or lower strength. By pressing the WONDERBAR button again, the mechanism of the radio moves to the next available station.
