Save your favorite songs to a USB drive and enjoy them on the road. After every stop, your radio continues playing exactly where you left off. At the same time, the USB port lets you charge your smartphone. Everything is conveniently controlled using the radio’s original controls – combining relaxed music enjoyment with modern functionality in your classic car.

Why WUNDERBAR?
Because we perfected our own radios first.

The name WUNDERBAR is inspired by WONDERBAR, DELCO’s legendary automatic station-seeking system – a feature found in both of my own classic cars: a 1956 Cadillac Sedan de Ville and a 1961 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special. The DELCO Wonderbar radios in both cars were broken. There were plenty of people who wanted to help me – but no one who truly could. That is why WUNDERBAR Custom Radio Shop was born: a small specialist workshop dedicated to breathing new life into classic car radios and giving them capabilities you may never have imagined possible.

EVERYTHING IN ONE HOUSING WITH AN INTUITIVE CONTROL CONCEPT

NO EXTERNAL DEVICES HIDDEN IN THE GLOVE BOX

Many other providers install a 3.5 mm AUX input and connect an external Bluetooth or DAB+ receiver to it. At WUNDERBAR, all of these technologies are fully integrated inside the original radio housing and can be operated entirely using the radio’s original switches and controls.
Every radio is equipped with connections for power and speakers. Bluetooth-equipped radios also feature a microphone input and, on request, RCA preamp outputs for connecting an external amplifier.

INTUITIVE CONTROLS WITH VOICE PROMPTS

ALL ORIGINAL SWITCHES AND BUTTONS ARE PRESERVED

Every single function of the radio can be operated using its original switches and controls – with one important difference: after the upgrade, many of these controls gain additional functions, allowing you to operate all modern features intuitively without changing the radio’s original appearance. For example, Bluetooth pairing is activated using the original volume control. Simply turn it briefly to the right twice, and the radio responds with “Ready to Pair”, allowing you to connect your smartphone.

DELCO WONDERBAR AND BECKER MEXICO

AUTOMATIC STATION SEEKING – NOW ALSO FOR DAB+

The electromechanical automatic station-seeking system found in many classic BECKER and DELCO car radios is often disabled by other providers or remains functional only for FM reception. At WUNDERBAR, we restore the original station-seeking mechanism and upgrade it to work with DAB+. This means you can continue to find your favorite stations just as you always have – using the original preset buttons or automatically with the original station-seek button.
