DELCO 7282315 WONDERBAR Radio für CADILLAC Baujahr 1963

This radio with the model number 7282315 was manufactured by DELCO and used by CADILLAC in their 1963 model year. It is a 12 volt radio that has AM reception. The WONDERBAR radio was one of the first car radios that could independently and automatically search for the next available station. Of course, the automatic search worked very differently than with modern radios today, but the idea is the same – the radio finds the next station by pressing the WONDERBAR button. The driver could set the desired reception strength of the automatic search by adjusting the sensitivity to a signal with a higher or lower strength. By pressing the WONDERBAR button again, the mechanism of the radio moves to the next available station.
